| Official Rules Eligibility: This contest is open to all High School Students, except those currently in 12th grade. You must submit only one essay. Prizes: Download essay and you will find prizes at the bottom of the page. Decisions: Judges are members of the intellectual community- teachers, attorneys etc. Entries are judged on the basis of originality, creative imagination, characterization, journalistic quality, and the adherence to word limits. All decisions of the judges are final. Fees: There are no entry fees, no subsidy payments, and no purchases of any kind required to enter and win the contest. Rights: All essays remain the property of the writer. By submitting an essay for this contest, the work may also be eligible for the publication of the essay by the International Library of Essays.
